2. When you eat matters
Here at TLS we follow a plan of 3 meals and 2 snacks throughout the day. Depending on your waking hours, that means you are eating every 3 – 4 hours This keeps the blood sugar levels even, putting our body in fat-burning mode and continuing to stoke the fire of our metabolism.
Skipping meals, once again, has the opposite effect. Sticking to our plan not only means you will reach your goals, but you will also have more energy and feel better than ever!
3. Muscle matters
Muscle tissue has the highest concentration of mitochondria, commonly known as the powerhouse of the cell. This little organelle creates our ATP and ATP is Energy.
This is why here at TLS, you will often hear us say; “muscle dictates metabolism.”
For this reason, we must lift heavy things and put them down. Weight training done safely and correctly 2 – 3 x a week (more if you choose) is the only way to build and maintain lean muscle tissue. No one is saying you need to be a “muscle head” and live in the gym but finding a routine that works for you is a non-negotiable part of a healthy metabolism and body lifelong.
4. Supplementation matters

5. Cardio matters
