We’re officially in the single digits in our Thanksgiving countdown! Can you believe it?? It is always exciting to gather for a Thanksgiving meal, but there’s a few of us fretting over how to stay on track for our weight loss goals without feeling deprived. Whether you’re in need of a healthy alternative for the day of or the leftover-filled days after, these Thanksgiving shake recipes are just the ticket!
While everyone is enjoying the turkey, rolls, cakes, + pies, you’re going to want to join in on the delicious fun + there’s a balancing act when it comes to indulging without overindulging! Some of us can stop at just one piece of pie while others may need to step away entirely (either way is just fine as long as it works for you, by the way) but it’s helpful to everyone to have a healthy snack in your back pocket, just in case.
Whether you need a nutritious boost so you don’t face the table starving or something to keep you from curling up with the rest of that apple pie, these TLS® Thanksgiving shake recipes are perfect for staying in control of your appetite. Easy to make + filled with the nutrition, these Thanksgiving shake recipes taste like everything you already love about the season!
TLS® Pumpkin Banana Smoothie
It isn’t Thanksgiving without pumpkin! If you have some leftover pumpkin from Halloween, we’ve got a great idea on how to use it. This is one of our favorite Thanksgiving shake recipes because it’s packed with vitamins, minerals, protein, and fiber!
Prep Time: 10 mins
Serves: 1
Ingredients:
- 2 Tbsp pumpkin puree
- 1 banana, frozen
- 2 scoops TLS® Nutrition Shake – Vanilla
- 1 cup water
- 2 Tbsp Greek yogurt
- 6-8 almonds
- Dash of cinnamon
- Dash of nutmeg
Directions:
- To prepare pumpkin puree from fresh pumpkin, cut pumpkin into small pieces, scrape out the seeds, then roast in the oven at 350 F for about half an hour. Once tender, remove skin + puree tehn let cool
- Add all ingredients, to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Top with crushed almonds.

TLS® Coco-Pumpkin Smoothie
Looking for something creative and refreshing? Give this pumpkin coconut smoothie a try!
For those who have never combined pumpkin and coconut, this is going to broaden the horizon of your Thanksgiving shake recipes! It’s a bit interesting, but give it a try + you might be how well these two flavors pair!
Prep Time: 10mins
Serves: 1
Ingredients:
- 3 Tbsp pumpkin puree
- ½ cup coconut milk
- 1 scoop TLS® Nutrition Shake – Vanilla
- ½ cup water
- Shredded coconut, for garnish
Directions:
- In a blender, blend all ingredients until smooth and frothy. If you would like a thicker consistency, add an additional tablespoon of your TLS® Nutrition Shake.
- Pour in a glass, garish with shredded coconut.

Cinnamon and apples are a staple Fall flavor combination. Whether it’s in the pies or crumbles, cinnamon apple pie is one of those classic desserts we can’t resist! Today, we’re going to twist the recipe a bit by making it into a simple, nutritious shake! Thanks to your TLS® Nutrition Shake, you’ll be enjoying over 20 types of minerals and vitamins as well as fiber and protein. With apples are available throughout the year, this is one of those Thanksgiving shake recipes you can make all year long.
Prep Time: 10mins
Serves: 1
Ingredients:
- 1 Honeycrisp apple
- 2 scoops of TLS® Nutrition Shake – Vanilla
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup water
- Sliced apples, to garnish
Directions:
- Cut apples into small pieces, mix with ¼ tsp of cinnamon.
- In a saucepan, heat over low heat, stir in apples and brown sugar until melted.
- Cover saucepan and let simmer for 5 minutes or until tender and soft.
- Remove apples from pan, set aside and let cool.
- In a blender, blend all ingredients until smooth and frothy. If you would like a thicker consistency, you can add 1 Tbsp of TLS Nutrition Shake.
- Pour in a glass, garish with apple slice on the edge of the glasses + top with cinnamon

Are you a sweet potato fan? We’re about to shake up your world! This is on our must-try list of Thanksgiving shake recipes because it packs in the nutrients + fiber we love while also adding some antioxidant benefits! Not to mention, the unique flavor combination is one that stands out from your run of the mill pumpkin spice for a much needed change!

Ingredients:
- ¼ cup sweet potato puree
- ¼ cup peaches, sliced
- 2 scoops TLS® Nutrition Shake – Vanilla
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- Dash cinnamon
- Dash nutmeg
Directions:
- Prepare sweet potato puree, by steaming sweet potato until it is soft, remove skin (optional).
- In a blender, blend all ingredients until smooth and frothy
- Top with additional nutmeg (optional)
