Do you agree that in-season products are better in taste and quality? We agree! That’s why we make a point to check out the month’s seasonal fruits + veggies. See our February-fresh picks to add to your favorite TLS meal below!

When fruits + veggies are in-season, they often taste much more fresh + bold.  Due to less processing, preserving, and transportation, they often cheaper as well!

 

Although seasonal fruits and vegetables may vary between locations, below are some common seasonal fruits and veggies you can take advantage of in February.

February-Fresh Produce

  • Cabbage
  • Cauliflower
  • Grapefruit
  • Kale
  • Lemon
  • Mandarins
  • Oranges
  • Pear

  • Sweet Potatoes

 

Next time you head to the grocery store, make a point to visit your produce section for your February-fresh favorites. Some may even be local! They can be easily incorporated into your breakfast, main dish…even dessert. After all, they are fresh and delicious! Remember you can still enjoy plenty of fruits and vegetables all year long. Canned, frozen or fresh, fresh fruits + veggies are packed with nutrients.
